disappointing news for the monkeys

apparently, a near infinite amount of monkeys at a near infinite amount of typewriters actually could *not* write the entire works of shakespeare, as had been previously assumed. in fact, if you look at the numbers, the stupid little bastards aren't ever even likely to even deliver the first line from hamlet, even with a supply of intergalactic supermonkeys capable of typing over 40 characters per second.

even though the task is nearly impossible -- if not daunting -- it is comforting to know that we're technologically prepared. RFC2795 provides a mechanism by which to capture and review the aggregate works of infinite monkeys.
